Spring is in the Air!

"S" for Superman of course!

...hopscotch anyone?

The weather has changed and today the kids got a real itch to get out in their summer clothes! Before Lucas had on his "fireman jacket," he was running around outside in his shorts with no shirt, but then wanted to be a fireman so Eleanor helped him put on his jacket. One of their favorite things to do outside is draw with sidewalk chalk and today was no exception!

...happy the rain is gone and the warm sunshine is here!

Best Family

I feel I have been blessed with the best sister and best mom in the whole wide world!!! I love and appreciate them soooo much. I know that mom being gone will be a great thing for Leah and I. We will have to depend soley on each other, without mom! This is ok because Eleanor and Lukie are like my very own. I love them so much. I believe I have the very best family in the world! Actually, I know I do. I also want to let Sharilyn know how much Leah and I appreciate the kindness you show to our parents and for loving them like they are your very own parents. They love having a daughter up there in Utah! Thank you for treating us like we are truly your family. We love you!

Mutant Saint Bernard??

Ok, here is a recent picture of Maximus. Dave was home last weekend and he said "what did we get a mutant Saint Bernard or something?" I was like "what are you talking about?" So he went on to say that he doesn't think that Maximus is growing at all...and he looks the same size he was last time Dave saw him. I laughed. I mean come on, isn't 95 pounds enough for a 7 month old puppy? Needless to say, Maximus is full of life and definitely keeps Elsa on her toes. I don't think he lets Elsa sleep. It's like she has this annoying kid around her all of the time and she looks at me as if to say "when are you going to get rid of this obnoxious dog?"

Kintergarden Patriotic Night

Tonight was Patriotic Night at Eleanor's school and all of the Kintergarden classes got up on stage and sang patriotic songs. It was really cute. As many of you know, Eleanor is very shy when put in a situation like this and so she pretty much stood there the entire time and did nothing. She looked at the kids around her most of the time and did mouth a few of the words....I really thought she was going to cry! Oh boy. Despite her shyness, it was a really special presentation and of course, once again, I was a proud mommy.

These smiles are for you, grandma and grandpa!!!

Braces put on!!!

Today was also Rebecca's big day!!! Rebecca's braces were PUT on!! I think that's all I need to say...

Today was Britton's big day! He is now feeling good and of course, looking good. For all of you who know Britton, he never complains about anything. We sometimes forgot he even had braces!

Braces come off!!

Finally! After three long, tortuous years, Britton's braces are off!!!
