No Training Wheels!

Today Eleanor officially learned to ride her bike without training wheels. We've been trying to bribe her by telling her that if she learns to ride without them, then Santa would probably bring her a new bike for Christmas. Better start looking Santa! This has been a great year of learning for Eleanor! This summer she learned to swim without her floaties, and she also learned to read (which she loooooves to do!) I think she may take after her Dad and her Grandpa Evans that way...and of course her Grandma Rahm too!

Spiderman and MJ

I know it's hard to tell, but that's really Eleanor and Lucas pretending to be Spiderman and MJ (Eleanor is in her pretty dress-up dress that she puts on when she wants to be rescued by Spiderman.) Maybe she's squeezing a little too tight...not sure what's going on with Spiderman's face here.

Look at the Camera Maximus!

Once again, Eleanor and her buddy Maximus.

Andrew

This past summer Andrew was able to come down from Oregon for a visit with his Dad and with all of us. We had a great time, most of which was spent in Grandma and Grandpa's pool. Andrew is 17 and is a great basketball player! Adam is 20 and also resides in Portland. We miss them!

My UPS driver

This is my UPS driver, Dale. Isn't he cute??

Our super hero, Luke!

Who's this cute little guy?? It's our most favorite little "super hero" Luke! The Rachael Reher family loves living by nephews and nieces and cousins!

Knotts Berry Farm Reunion

Looking cool last summer at the Evans Reunion. We miss you and love you David Evans family! Can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving! We love our cousins!

My #1 Fresno State fan!

Rebecca had to have a Bulldog sweatshirt to show her support for her mom. Isn't that a sweet daughter?

This picture is a couple years old. This is our little family attending my College of Sequoias graduation. I love and appreciate my family for being so patient with me as I've been pursuing my eduacational goal to be a Speech-Language Pathologist. I also appreciate my mom, dad and sister, Leah for their continued patience and support! I know I can sometimes be hard to deal with (during test week). I love my family so much and am so thankful to live close to them. I couldn't imagine living apart. I am especially thankful to live close by my only sister and her adorable, cute family. I love them so much and it has brought us so much closer. I love you, Leah! Thanks for being the best sister in the world! I love our shopping sprees with the kids and mom! I love living close to family, especially when you have the very BEST parents in the world!!!

The best two kids in the world!

Here's a picture of the best two kids in the world! In
our opinion, of course. Britton is fourteen now attending
Redwood High School and Rebecca is eleven and is a 6th
grader at Hurley Elementary. Gosh how time flies!
Britton is a straight A student with a 4.o (which mom never
had) and Rebecca of course, is a STAR student! I couldn't be
more proud of my kids!

Spiderman?

Lucas is obsessed with all of the Superheros, one of them being Spiderman. This is his Halloween Costume that Grandpa Evans couldn't resist buying for him this year. When he puts it on, Eleanor puts on a pretty dress and pretends to be M.J. It's pretty darn cute!

Eleanor and our dogs

Eleanor looooves her dogs. As you can see, Elsa is quite a bit bigger than her and Maximus is not far behind! She goes outside every morning before Kintergarden and plays with the dogs. If we can't find her in the house, we know she's out in the backyard!

Leah, Dave, Eleanor and Lucas

This is my family. We are Dave, Leah, Eleanor (5) and Lucas (almost 3.) We also have 2 very large but loveable St. Bernards named Elsa (6 1/2) and Maximus (3 months.) We live here in Visalia, California along with my parents, Rachael and her family, and Gary and his family, and Chris and his family are only a short 3 hours north. I must admit, it is the best thing in the world to live close to family.

Ok, with the help of one wonderful Natalie Evans (from the John Evans family), I have finally got this thing partially figured out! Thanks Natalie! This blog is the spot for the Gary Evans family to post fun pictures and comments about their families. I hope that you all enjoy seeing and hearing about our family!

Just Look At Those Grandkids!

This picture was taken in 2005. Since this photo, 1 more grandchild has been added to the mix! Grandma and Grandpa absolutely adore their grandchildren and are the most wonderful grandparents in the entire world!
