Britton's new car???

Britton wishes he were 16!! He'll be 16 next April and that means he'll be driving!!! EEk! No, this is not Britton's new car. Let me repeat myself, no this is not Britton's new car. You would think Dale and I would learn by now NOT to walk onto a car lot until we are REALLY ready to purchase a new car. The third car will be nice to help with the commute to Fresno (to finish school) and also for when Britton does start to drive. I thik we're really going to enjoy this purchase! By the way, it's a Mazda 3 (sport package).

Saturday we went to Fresno for cousin Ryen's 4th birthday party. Hans (Dale's brother) and Michelle invited all of the Rehers that live close by to the party. We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone. I think everyone's cheeks hurt by the end of the night after watching Ryen open up all of her presnets. Here are some photos of the night.

Congratulations Class of 2008!!

As most of you know, Dave and Rachael both recently graduated from Fresno State. Dave received his MBA and Rachael received her Bachelor's Degree. Dave actually finished school several months ago, but last weekend was the ceremony. His Dad flew in, and my Mom was here (they let her come home for a week for Rachael's graduation) and Chris and Mimi came into town. It was so great. We got to celebrate both Dave's accomplishment and Rachael's too. Rachael received her Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Speech Disorders (AKA Speech Therapy.) It was such a great weekend! Here are some photos of the night.

Surprise visit from St Louis!

This past weekend was Dave's graduation ceremony from Fresno State. He received his MBA. Dave decided at the last minute that he was going to walk in the ceremony. When I told his Mom that he was going to walk, nearly the next day I received a call from Dave's Dad saying that he was going to come out and surprise Dave and the kids. It was so great! Everyone was surprised and we had a wonderful time together. We were very sad to see Grandpa leave this morning.

Mothers Day

This Mother's Day I had a wonderful time in Eleanor's Kintergarden class. They put together a very special program for all of the mothers and sang about 10 songs to us. They also made us these adorable hats, jewelry boxes, and magnetic fridgerator frame. It was all soooo cute! Hats off to Eleanor's teacher, Mrs. Campa, who is THE BEST!!!!!

Dog Days

So this is what it's like when I try to relax out in the backyard while the kids are sliding, digging...whatever it is they choose to do outside. I get my chair with my magazine, I sit in the sun, and BOOM. I am instantly mauled by Maximus and Elsa. They're in my face nonstop. Here's a taste of how NOT relaxing it really is....

....and finally I get them to go away and cool off in the shade. That's when Lucas takes a break too and chills out with them

Elsa looooves the kids!
