Is 3 too young to be using an iPod??

Lucas doesn't think so!

No Intruders!

Eleanor made a sign for her bedroom door a while back. When she finally told Lucas what it said, he insisted she make him one for his door. Here are the signs that Eleanor made:

I'm so very thankful for a dad who is a wonderful example of many great things and who is a wonderful influence for good. I'm thankful for a dad who was softspoken and never raised his voice at his children and wife. I'm thankful for a dad who kept the same job in the same city and same house for 30 years so his children never had to change schools. I'm thankful for a dad who always had a quarter for me to make a phone call while on a date just in case of an emergency. I'm thankful for a dad who was always at my dance reciatals and swim meets and anything that was importanct to me. I'm thankful for a dad who always took us to church. I'm thankful for a dad who is a great example of the importance of serving a mission. I'm thankful for a dad who has always been supportive of me while I've been in school. I'm thankful for a dad who is a wonderful grandpa. I'm thankful for a dad who is constantly telling me not to worry, you'll do just fine. I'm thankful for you , dad. It's Cruisin' time!

Rebecca turned 12 the day after school got out. As you can see in these pictures she's with a brand new Hawaii beach cruiser bike. Well, if you know Dale and I you'd know we are both suckers when it comes to bikes. We love bikes! Our family loves bikes! She's been on in nonstop since we've purchased it. In fact, we ALL loved it so much we decided that Britton also needed a new cruiser! His is the black one. (The one without the flowers) Hmmmmmm I wonder who will be next???

Well, school is out!!! Summer is here! This was Rebecca's last day of 6th grade. I can't hardly believe my baby will be in Middle School next year! Here are a few pictures of some of her favorite people at Hurley Elementary. Can you believe her principal is one of them? I thought they had a great principal, she knew many of the kids names and was always in the classrooms and with the kids. I never remember giving MY elementary school principal teachers hugs! Rebecca loved ALL of her teachers and had a GREAT experience at Hurley! We will always love Hurley Elementary.
